Because most of the mental processes that determine behavior occur in the subconscious, and without access to these processes our ability to develop an understanding of one’s behavior is limited.
How does a decision maker arrive at a decision? He evokes all the ideas surrounding a decision from his conscious and subconscious mind. Then, the decision maker consolidates these ideas into a decision. When a market researcher conducts a qualitative study, he records many of these ideas. Computer Intuition, our psycholinguistic software, identifies these ideas in the data and assigns to each idea a psychological intensity, or psytensity. Then, the program consolidates the psytensities into the most likely decision by mimicking the decision maker’s own intuitive process. Since the software mimics human intuition, we call it Computer Intuition. Since Computer Intuition mimics the person’s own consolidating process, it produces the best predictors of his future behavior.
What Happens When You Hire Our Services?
When you decide to use Computer Intuition and hire our services, we first ask you to send us your market research data taken from interviews, focus groups, or surveys. The rest is up to us. We take the following steps and provide you with results:
- We input the data that we have received into the computer.
- We use Computer Intuition, our psycholinguistics based program, to produce an Emotional X-Ray image of the text. We then isolate the sections in the text with the highest psytensities.
- We analyze and interpret these sections and prepare a report, called Do This Do That, which includes the sections with the highest psytensities and our interpretations of these sections in tables and graphs. The interpretations include our recommended course of action.
- Within a week from receiving the data, we present the report to the client.
